Use for skylights.

Skylight

Construction (Load) Type

Press the row to select and bring up a Selection list of Skylight types defined within the application. The list is as follows:

• Skylight, single pane, clear glass
• Skylight, double pane, clear glass
• Skylight, triple pane, clear glass

Select a type from within the list and press [Save] to return to the Skylight view.

Direction

Select the direction the skylight faces.

Reference

Enter a reference for the item.

Inclination

Enter the skylight angle, one of the following:

• Horizontal (flat)
• 30 degrees from Horizontal
• 45 degrees from Horizontal
• 60 degrees from Horizontal

Frame

Enter the skylight frame construction, one of the following:

• Metal Sash no Break
• Wood or Aluminum Clad Wood

Curb Height

Enter the skylight Curb Height, one of the following:

• 4 inches (~ 10 cm)
• 6 inches (~ 15 cm)
• 8 inches (~ 20 cm)
• 10 inches (~ 25 cm)
• 12 inches (~ 30 cm)

Length

Enter length.

Width

Enter width.

Net Area

Net is calculated as length x width x occurrences

Load

Heating

Yes or no indicates whether or not Heating is calculated for this load.

Cooling

Yes or no indicates whether or not Cooling is calculated for this load.

Count

Count is the number of occurrences of this particular item, typically one.
